Basic telephone service is provided to eligible UBC faculty and staff as part of an overall IT services bundle billed annually to UBC departments. Enhanced, multi-line and advanced services are available on a cost-recovery basis.

Telephone Moves
With the conversion to Voice-over-Internet (VoIP) telephones, faculty and staff are now able to move their phones themselves by simply unplugging the phone in the old location, then plugging it into an active Internet port in the new location.
The connection order is: wall >> telephone >> computer
