Book a Teaching and Learning Studio

The Faculty of Education’s central teaching and learning studios may be booked for Education courses and/or workshops.
We are not able to accommodate external booking requests.

To reserve a teaching and learning studio:

  • Bookings must be made at least 3 business days in advance of the requested date(s).
    Confirmations are sent via email within 2 business days.
  • Review the information for instructors.
  • Check the Teaching and Learning Studio Schedules for availability
  • Fill out the booking form below.
  • If you are unfamiliar with the Faculty of Education central teaching and learning studios, it is strongly recommend that you visit the teaching and learning studio at least one week before your booking to familiarize yourself with the facilities.

Note: As per the Vision of the Teaching and Learning Studios, only one of the two rooms, between Scarfe 1006 & Scarfe 1007 is bookable at any one time to ensure that space is available for drop-in student use. 

Please contact dnso.facilities@ubc.ca if you require additional information or wish to change or cancel your studio booking.

  • Timeblocks end at 10 minutes before the half hour.
    Please book only the time(s) you will be in the teaching and learning studio.
  • Please provide a minimum of two weeks advance notice if requesting additional licensed software to be installed in the teaching and learning studio(s).
  • This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.
